هاتِ لي من أرضنا الحَمراءِ لوحَهْ
من شَنانير الأمَلْ
هاتِ لي من حَقْلِنا الوَضّاحِ نَجْمَه
واعْتَصِرْ غَيْمَ المُقَلْ

سَيّدي...
رَفّتْ أغاني الزّوْرَق العَطْشان
فابْتَسَمَ الحَجَلْ
سيّدي...
حَنّتْ ضَواحي أبْحُري...
للكِرْكِسِ الأمّيّ...
للدّورِيَِّ... يرْنو للسَّجَلْ

سيّدي...
شِعري المُطَهّى بالشّجَنْ
من نارِهِ...
فاحَتْ طَوابينُ الوَطَنْ

from the bobwhites ' hope

Bring me, from our bright field , a star
And squeeze out the clouds of eyes


Sir …
The songs of the thirsty boat fluttered
And the partridges smiled


Sir
The suburbs of my seas longed
To the tender Kirkis,
to Partridge……
and tenderly looked at
Sajals

From its fire spread the smell
