الباب المزدوج
الباب المزدوج هو الباب الجنوبي القديم للمسجد الأقصى، ويدعى أيضا باسم باب النبي. وهو بناء إسلامي تم بناؤه زمن الأمويين باستعمال الحجارة الرومانية القديمة ومنها حجر عليه كتابة لاتينية لكنه وضع بشكل مقلوب مما يدل على جهل بناءيه باللغة اللاتينية وإلا لكانوا وضعوه بالشكل الصحيح. ويدعي علماء الاثار التوراتيون (البروفيسور بنيامين مازار ومائير بن دوف) بان هذا الباب هو باب نبيتهم خلدا المذكورة في كتابهم سفر الملوك (المشناه) وأن قبرها موجود عنده. تم الحفر هناك ولم يعثر على أية آثار لأية قبور. وهذا الادعاء فنده خبير الآثار الأردني المرحوم رفيق الدجاني ونشر في مجلة هدي الإسلام عام 1972 م.
THE DOUBLE GATE
The Double Gate is the southern old gate of El-Aksa Mosque. One of the other names of this gate is Bab En-Nebi (Prophet Mohammad’s Gate), A Latin inscripted stone which was put upside down inside the gate building, simply shows that the gate was built by the Muslim workers who used the old Hadrian stones. The Israeli Archaeologists Prof. B. Mazar and M. Ben Dov, claimed that this gate was one of the two pairs of their Prophetess ‘Huldah’ Gates mentioned in the ‘Mishnah’ and that ‘Huldah’ was buried there. The area was excavated, but no tombs or any Jewish remains of tombs were found. The Jordanian Archaeologist Mr. Rafiq Al-Dajani, denied these ‘Huldah’ claims with an article published in 1972, in ‘Hadyul Islam’ Magazine
