أستاذتي الكرام . . . زملائي الأعزاء
أقدم لكم اليوم و لأول مرة و ربما علي المنتديات العربية أول عضو بغير لسان عربي مبين هي الأستاذة الجامعية (June Thornton ) من جامعة Massey University بنيوزيلاند . .
و هي شخصية أكاديمية من الدرجة الأولي و لها العديد من المؤلفات و الأبحاث و قد ولدت بجنوب أفريقيا ثم رحلت للعمل بنيوزيلاند .
و قد طرأت الفكرة لدعوتها من أجل تعميم فكرة و نشر أهداف الجمعية عالمياً . . فهي في مركز علمي مرموق و لها اتصالات ثقافية قيمة
و قد تحدثت معا اليوم و أطلعتها علي موقع الجمعية و أثنت علي هذة الأنشطة بعدما قمت بترجمة بعض الموضوعات لها
و عرضت عليها أن تشترك معنا . . و وافقت علي الفور و بدأ رجل المهام الصعبة الأستاذ بسام بإعداد صفحة لها و ذلك لتخطي عقبة عدم علمها باللغة العربية . .
و تحدثت معها عن وضع إستراتجية عمل متكاملة . . و اقترحت أن تقوم بإعطاء دورات في اللغة الإنجليزية نظراً لأنها قد عملت من قبل في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة ثانية للآسيويين . . و سوف أقوم إن شاء الله تعالي بتدريبها علي استخدام المنتديات . . و اعتقد إنها ستكون فرصة عظيمة لنتعرف علي هذه الحضارة البعيدة و نتعاون معها في نقل ثقافتنا و أفكارنا . . و خصوصاً إنها تحمل احترام كبير للإسلام و المسلمين و للعرب بصفة عامة و لا انسي موقفها النبيل عندما نشرت الرسوم المسيئة لسيد الخلق في الصحف الدتماركية و قد أخذت موقفاً جليلاً حيث اتصلت برئيسة الوزراء و أبلغتها باستنكارها لهذه الفعلة الشنعاء و نصحت لها ألا نتبع أهواء الأوربيين
و سيكون بيننا و بينها مشاريع كثيرة إن شاء الله و اتفقت معها أن تدعو زملائها للاشتراك معنا و سوف يكون لواتا مرحلة جديدة و شكل جديد إن شاء الله من العمل . . و فور انتهائي من تدريبها علي استعمال المنتديات سوف تبدأ في المشاركة العملية و قد أرسلت لى السيرة الذاتية و التي أشرف بعرضها علي سيادتكم كما أرسلتها لي :

Since 1992 I have been self-employed, taught at various schools in Napier and written three books for Penguin Books Ltd, Auckland. I have also done extensive research in education through Massey University, run aromatherapy and literacy/numeracy courses, and relief-teaching in Special Needs during this time. PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe all children have the right to gain an education that is centered around their individual growth. Education is a life long process that is integral to the development of a person as a whole, it should be active and purposeful, providing the student with knowledge, attitudes and skills to realise their full potential.
As a teacher it is my role to provide an education for children which will facilitate and motivate their learning, growth, development and success. In doing so it is necessary for me to cater to the individual needs of each child with an enjoyable varied, well organised and managed teaching programme that will effectively plan and evaluate their progress.
I use a variety of teaching styles and strategies which promote quality education through positive and caring input within an equitable and stimulating classroom.
No greater satisfaction exists for me than that which I obtain from providing quality teaching practices using my accumulated knowledge and experience, presented in such a way as to provide maximum benefit to children.
