ترجمة قصيدة لولا العجوز بمنبج Translated by Ali Farhan

هذه قصيدة الشاعر المعروف أبو فراس الحمداني التي قالها في الأسر (( روميات أبو فراس )) وكان يبتغي الفدية بسبب أمه التي تركها تصارع الزمن وحيدة فريدة فقال فيها:

لَوْلا العَجُوزُ بِمَنْبِج
مَا خِفْتُ أسْبَابَ المَنِيّهْ
وَلَكَانَ لي، عَمّا سَأَلْـت
منَ الفدا ، نفسٌ أبيهْ
لكنْ أردتُ مرادها ،
وَلَوِ انْجَذَبْتُ إلى الدّنِيّهْ
وَأرَى مُحَامَاتي عَلَيْـها
أنْ تُضَامَ مِنَ الحَمِيّهْ
أمستْ بـ " منبج " ، حرة ً
بالحُزْنِ، من بَعدي، حَرِيّهْ
لوْ كانَ يدفعُ حادثٌ ،
أوْ طارقٌ بجميلِ نيهْ
لَمْ تَطّرِقْ نُوَبُ الحَوَادث
أرضَ هاتيكَ التقيهْ
لَكِنْ قَضَاءُ الله،
الأحكامُ تنفذُ في البريهْ
وَالصَّبْرُ يَأتي كُلَّ ذِي
رُزْء عَلى قَدْرِ الرّزِيّهْ
لا زَالَ يَطْرِقُ مَنْبِجاً،
في كلِّ غادية ، تحيهْ
فيها التقى ، والدينُ
مجـمُوعَانِ في نَفْس زَكِيّهْ
يَا أُمّتَا! لا تَحْزَني،
وثقي بفضلِ اللهِ فيَّــهْ !
يَا أُمّتَا! لا تَيّأسِي،
للهِ ألطافٌُ خفيهْ
كَمْ حَادِث عَنّا جَلاة
، وَكَمْ كَفَانَا مِنْ بَلِيّهْ
أوصيكِ بالصبرِ الجميــل
فإنهُ خيرُ الوصيهْ

If the old woman is not living in Manbej,
I couldn't fear the consequent of fate.
Then maybe not ask to redeem my soul.
Bridling upon tiny affairs and matters.
But I need to be close of her
Despite degrading myself whatever.
It's my issue of custody….
In order to enhance her dignity.
She was bleak without comfort
In Manbej after she was missing me
If only a good faith motivation of an action
Or an intention pushing forward…..
The pious woman shouldn't suffer the scourges of life.
But, that's the act of God!
And his decision in Earth is applicable.
Though everyone employs himself in life, as he could endure.
In each back and forth there was greeting,
Consisting of devoutness and faith.
In one soul they were integrated and interfered.
O' mother don't despair; God has concealed mercy and grace.
How much incidents and ordeals we avoid, by His favor and virtue.
I advise you to stick in fair patience and tolerance.
It is best advice I think.
