Your eyes are summer nights,
visions,
rosy poems!
and love letters running away
from forgotten tomes of passion.

Who are you…?
With your nimble steps you’ve planted
damask roses along the road
As light you’ve passed…
as the pulses of perfume,
as the chanting of popular songs
You moved like a sail… bearing me
as poem of a marine sun
towards promises painted by
the dreams of an Eastern young woman!

Who are you?
The magic in your eyes
fulfills a wish in my life
As though you have come from a moon
or from a golden morning sun!
from a land where the sun of love
embraces the face of freedom.
And I’m
a traveler in this life
and with me…
are your eyes and a song!

عيناكَ ليالٍ صيفيَّة *
للشاعر العربي الراحل أنور سلمان **
عيناكَ ليالٍ صيفيَّهْ،
ورؤىً،
وقصائدُ ورديَّهْ؟
ورسائلُ حُبٍّ هاربةٌ
من كُتُبِ الشَّوقِ المنْسيَّهْ.

مَنْ أنتَ؟ ...
زرعْتَ بنقْلِ خُطاكَ
الدُّرْبَ وُرُوداً جوريَّهْ!
كالضَّوْءِ مرَرْتَ...
كَخَفْقِ العِطْرِ،
كَهَزْجِ أغانٍ شعبيَّهْ.
ومضيتَ شراعاً... يحملُني
كَقَصيدَةِ شمسٍ بحْريَّهْ.
لوعودٍ راحتْ ترسُمُها
أحلامُ فتاةٍ شرقيَّهْ!

من أنتَ؟
وسِحرٌ في عينيكَ
يزفُّ العمرَ لأمْنِيَّهْ.
لكأنّكَ... من قمرٍ تأتي.
من نجمةِ صُبحٍ ذهبيَّهْ!
من أرضٍ... فيها شمسُ الحبِّ
تُعانقُ وجْهَ الحُريَّهْ.
وأنا...
في العُمرِ مسافرةٌ،
ومعي...
عيناكَ وأغنيَّهْ!

** أنـور سلمـان شاعر لبناني، من مواليد عام 1938. توفي في 20 نيسان/ابريل عام 2016 إثر حادث سير مؤسف.
